Big Jake (1971) John Wayne stars as Jacob McCandles, a rough-and-tumble rancher who's estranged from his wife (Maureen O'Hara). But when a cutthroat gang led by Richard Boone kidnaps his grandson, Big Jake gets the call to rescue him. Patrick Wayne (John Wayne's real-life son) and Chris Mitchum (Robert Mitchum's son) co-star as Jake's grown boys, who accompany him on the long trek that can end only one way -- with the death of the abductors. John Wayne, Richard Boone, Maureen O'Hara...TS…

The Quiet Man (1952). An all-time favorite! Movie Trivia - what 1980's film used a clip from this movie of Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne in a classic on-screen kiss? Hint - it was a Stephen Spielberg blockbuster!

Love the similarities between this and Mark Walhberg's "Four Brothers" (a more modernized version IMHO). This also is the movie that got Jenn hooked on John Wayne movies! ;)

Duke. My least favorite movie because even tho I LOVE Bruce Dern, I HATE his character. I HATE all bullies. He rocked it tho, I'll give him that. On the set, before the scene Duke and Dern were sitting together and Duke leaned in to Dern and said, "Oooo, they're gona Hate you for this." And he's right.
