The home of John and Patsy Ramsey was the site of a break-in February 20, 2001 in Atlanta, GA. John Ramsey had earlier returned home and surprised an intruder. Ramsey fought with the man, but was subdued and locked inside a bathroom in his house. The Ramseys are the parents of JonBenet Ramsey, the 6-year-old beauty queen who was killed in the Ramseys'' Boulder, Colorado home on December 26, 1996.

09-20-13 Colorado reporter suing to make secret indictment of JonBenet Ramsey’s parents public ~ A Col. journalist and an advocacy group are suing prosecutors to find out why a grand jury wanted to indict the parents of slain pageant tot JonBenet Ramsey following her murder in 1996. A Boulder County grand jury voted to indict John and Patsy Ramsey on charges of child abuse in 1999, but prosecutors refused to try the case. The indictment was never made public.
