NEWSEUM in Washington DC – The Story Behind the Story This is one of the best museums in Washington DC. The NEWSEUM shows you the history of journalism and what goes into a story. The Pulitzer Prize photography collection will take your breath away!
D.C. is a great place to visit and most everything is free. However, hotel space in D.C. and food tends to be expensive. So it a fine line. I especially like the National Book Festival held the last Friday and Saturday of the month of September. There are lots of authors and illustrators and it is great fun.
