In Kabbalah, and increase of Light can bring on Darkness and vice versa. The summer months bring more light and heat and tempers flare. Both Temples were destroyed on the same day 400 years apart. Every destruction brings with it a renewal. Kabbalah, Judaism, Jewish calendar, Jewish holidays, blog http://KabbalahByHeart.com

The month of Av on the Jewish calendar begins with 9 days of mourning for the destruction of both Temples on the same day, 400 years apart. For nearly 1000 years, the Jewish people had a holy Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Every 9th of Av they mourn that loss and look forward to a 3rd Temple to be built by God with the coming of Moshiach. It is now the month of Adar II. In the Jewish calendar the months are true lunar months of about 29.5 days each on average. To reconcile this with the solar year there are periodically "leap years" where an extra month of Adar is added, like this year. Hear Adar pronounced here: http://www.dictionary.co.il/hebrew_word.php?topic=h1001&image=h10/h1001008&name=Adar

Hebrew translation of Adar. Hear it spoken by an Israeli! Written WITH Hebrew vowels (nikud).
