The next thing I have noticed with the yesteryears' posters, especially the ones designed during the Japanese occupation of Singapore, was that they like to make use of spaces and put in words to fill up space. That is very rare nowadays as the modern designers and audience have gained a newfound appreciation for the principle of white space.
