Produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee, I found it quite interesting to know that the three main type faces on the Jack Daniel's Bottle were all made into full fonts, just for the bottle. Its founder, Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel. Jasper is the font for the name, Lynchburg Script, based on the Tennessee lettering in the label, and Motlow, which came from part of a family member's name. It's all gives off such a 'home-made' feel, which I adore.
Jack’s All-Purpose BBQ Glaze ½ cup Jack Daniel's® Tennessee Whiskey ½ cup soy sauce ½ cup ketchup 1 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon garlic powder Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Makes about 2 cups.
