Allowing students to be in control of what they want to learn, will encourage motivation. Encouraging students to work on a research project that interests them will involve all of these skills needed for intrinsic motivation, and creativity and innovative ideas will pour out of our students.

According to The Girl Scouts of America, the intention of this research project was to add to the body of knowledge on girls and young women and STEM as well as provide results that can be used to recommend new innovative solutions.
