I created this NO MESS PAINTING for my infant and toddler classroom. They had a blast mixing the colors and making footprints. The infants even joined the action by having tummy time and exploring the colors. Very easy and cheap idea!!! Comment for more info. TGP

Stretch fabric over an embroidery hoop for sensory tree. Cute! These could be kept in a basket in the science center for little ones to explore, hung on the wall, or laid out on the ground. Neat things might happen with them in the block corner, too!

This is a sensory wall I created in my infant/young toddler classroom. I wrapped pieces of cardboard in a variety of textures. The ones I used were felt, tin foil, contact paper, bubble wrap, burlap, and the plastic they wrap couches in. I simply taped the material to the cardboard with masking tape and then taped them to the wall. It is a great way for the infants to experience textures.

Artifact Globes! Great way to let infants and toddlers experience nature indoors. I am totally going to use these for my classroom. And I can change them as often as I want for the themes.
