Inclusion Teaching/Special Education - Co-teaching has so many perks! I LOVE seeing my students achieve their goals, while in the regular classroom setting. However, there's stress of not being in my classroom and not having everything I needed at my reach. I have created a binder that has saved me from running from the inclusion classroom to my classroom about 5 times a day. This has also played a tremendous part in regular education teacher/special education teacher collaboration.
FREE! Are you working on creating a kind, compassionate, inclusive classroom environment? Snatch up these FREE posters to display on a bulletin board or in the hallway outside your classroom. These posters can be used at any level and also come with a printable worksheet that will facilitate meaningful discussions about each of the affirmations. Enjoy!
Teaching in an inclusive classroom is challenging and rewarding. In this post, I share why I love inclusion, what I've learned from it, and strategies for making it work. http://www.elementarymathconsultant.com/why-i-love-inclusion/
