Students do not receive all of their information through books anymore, they have moved into using digital tools to find out about topics. It is important that educators help students navigate through this new digital world they belong to with purposeful digital citizenship and media awareness lessons.
Infographics are great to display throughout the classroom in order to creatively organize and display information. It encompasses digital literacy, financial literacy, media literacy, moral literacy, and global literacy. It offers great outlets for conversations on equal rights, responsible spending, threats with technology, and respectful communication.
