US Chart of Measures - The 128 oz gallon exists ONLY in the United States. The rest of the world uses the Imperial system with a 40 oz quart. That is, those who haven't graduated to the less complicated metric system. Imperial - Gallon is 160 ounces (4.54 Liters); a Quart is 40 ounces (1.25 Liters); a pint is 2 1/2 cups (20 ounces or 512 ml)
