This is a great first day/week activity for getting to know students, and they will love it because it involves candy! They randomly choose an M out of the bag, depending on the color they choose they will answer a question about themselves. If some students do not like chocolate you could use Skittles instead. 0642
buy a large 24″ Bouncy Ball from Walmart for $2.50 and used a permanent marker to write on all my questions. Some of my questions were: Favorite Celebrity? Chocolate or Vanilla?, What do you want to be when you grow up? Crushing On? Favorite Movie?, Farthest place you have traveled? First Pet?, Hot Dogs or Hamburgers? etc…
This is a great activity that gives warmth to a classroom. Having an opportunity where children get to answer a question directed directly at them or something they did or desire to do or have shows that the teacher wants to hear what they have to say and learn more about them.
