When #ikatbag first posted this pattern, I thought it was the cutest thing out there. (I still do.) I've wanted to make it for friends with new babies, but haven't quite made it happen yet. Who knows, maybe it will arrive in the mail for a friend, sister, or sister-in-law with a bun-in-the-oven. If so, I'll take a picture.
Who Pushed Humpty Dumpty?: This is a fun case by case book that kids will know most of the answers to the crimes. The fun one was Humpty Dumpty, of course, but the others were cute too. This would be good for older Elementary School kids visiting - Just share 2-3 cases with them and have them try to solve the crime.
I will leave what the previous pinner said, but it has been discussed below, and turns out not to be true: Humpty dumpty. real story behind the rhyme dates back to the English Civil War. Humpty was a huge cannon mounted atop a high wall-like church tower. During the Siege of Colchester, The tower was hit by enemy cannon fire and Humpty suffered a great fall. There was no fixing the cannon or the tower, and the Humpty Dumpty rhyme was born.
