Passed on from generation to generation of the House of Bernadotte, the Royal House of Sweden. At the wedding in Stockholm 2013 Crown Princess Victoria wore Queen Josefinas corsage necklace. Her aunt, Princess Lilian wore the necklace, and the double tiara, many times until her death, when she left it to her niece, Victoria.
Emerald Demi-parure. The demi-parure comprises of a belt and two brooches. The belt is used as a necklace today. The emeralds were mentioned in the very first documentation of the Bernadotte Family Foundation (the jewels of the Royal House of Sweden) in 1844. The first Bernadotte king, Charles XIV John of Sweden, laid the foundation to a collection that would be owned by the Head of the Royal House and be at the disposition of the queens.
