Rupert Blanchard @ Styling and Storage (London) built this treasure. It was made with 33 drawers (& a bird house) dating from 1860's-1970's. It took him 3 yrs. to gather the drawers from many pieces of furniture including desks, wardrobes, bureaus, filing cabinets, etc. from junk shops, markets & dealers all across the uk. This big boy would hold a lot of craft supplies.
AN IMPORTANT FEDERAL RED-AND-GREEN PAINT-DECORATED YELLOW PINE AND POPLAR CHEST OF DRAWERS, ATTRIBUTED TO JOHANNES BRAUN, WITH DECORATION ATTRIBUTED TO JOHANN VALENTIN SCHULLER, JR., MAHANTONGO VALLEY, PENNSYLVANIA, 1829
Organizing Laundry This isn’t a chest of drawers, it’s a nifty chest of laundry baskets! Baskets slide out on rails for sorting, and then slide back neatly when not in use. Top it off with a homemade ironing board countertop to maximize efficiency.
