tutorial- finishing your hexagon quilts. This is a very creative solution! I will be doing mine in the same fabric as the backing but I do like her use of random fabrics. In fact, there are those random ones I have leftover... but... hmmm... no, those will be going onto pillowcases or make decorative pillows, or make great potholders. Ok. done.
This hexagon quilt was made mostly from men's shirts collected at The Goodwill. I call it " The Shirt off His Back" because of my friend who took his shirt off and gave it to me when I admired the plaid and wished it could be a part of my quilt. The brightest red hexagon in the center came from that shirt.
