I was looking for a more elegant way to keep my blow dryer & straightener out and easily accessible, so when I found this inexpensive metal candle holder at Target, something clicked! I grabbed a can of spray paint to match my bathroom decor, & simply mounted it to the wall with a screw anchor & screw. Inexpensive, sturdy, heat resistant, & cute...LOVE it!
Stone fireplace makeover! Watered down paint brushed and sponged on the stone & brushed random stones/all grout with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in French Linen. Heat resistant spray paint on the gold trim.
Whether your oven door is scratched and scuffed beyond repair, stained or a color that does not suit your style, you can repaint it quickly with little fuss. The key is to only use paint specifically ...
For the TLC555 - use Watercolor Powders. I used various colors of Brushos here. I first stamped the Hero Arts image with Versamark on the smoother side of watercolor paper and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then sprinkled on two colors at a time, misted with water until I got the texture I wanted and heat set it. I then repeated that adding two more colors and heat set. I heat set in between so I didn't get mud.
