Hawaiian shirts are still popular today. They gained popularity during and after the war because veterans would return home with the shirts. The bright, tropical prints were a more casual, relaxed look in menswear.
Berlin concept store SOTO has teamed up with Tuscan brand President’s on a set of Hawaii shirts for Spring/Summer 2013. Made of premium Japanese fabric, the shirt comes in black and burgundy and is the perfect companion for the hotter days of the year. The store produced a small lookbook for its latest collaboration, with the shirts being modeled by Berlin tastemakers Joey Elgersma and Lee Stuart.
