1976 - Laverne & Shirley, a Happy Days spin-off debuted in 1976 starring Penny Marshall as Laverne De Fazio & Cindy Williams as Shirley Feeney. They were roommates who worked in a fictitious Milwaukee brewery called "Shotz Brewery."

Al became the new owner and cook at everyone's favorite diner - and he even went on to guest star in the spin-off 'Joanie Loves Chachi.'  By the time Al Molinaro joined the 'Happy Days' cast, he had an entire career under his belt. After the show, he played Joe Alberghetti on 'The Family Man' and his last acting gig was a one-off role on 'Step by Step.'
