Just in time for autumn bonfires, chilly football games, and walking in a winter wonderland- DIY flannel hand warmers using scraps that came from thrifted shirts! Such a simple, quick project- any leftover fabric scraps will do- and you fill them with rice! 25-30 seconds in the microwave and they get nice and toasty- perfect for taking the chill off of cold hands. #SadieSeasongoods
Cozy hand warmers: 4 pieces of 3"x3" cotton fabric, uncooked rice. Pin two pieces of fabric together, wrong side out. Sew around the edges, leaving at least an inch open. Turn square right side out. Fill square 3/4 of the way with rice. Hand sew or machine stitch the pocket opening.
