Charles Nelson Reilly (January 13, 1931 – May 25, 2007) was an American actor, comedian, director, and drama teacher known for his comedic roles in stages, films, children's television, cartoons, and game show panelist. Patrick Hughes III, a set decorator and dresser, was Reilly's domestic partner; the two met backstage in 1980 while Reilly appeared on the game show Battlestars. They soon moved together into Reilly's Beverly Hills home, where the two lived a quietly open life.

This June, racist shock jock Anthony Cumia pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing for attacking his then-girlfriend in his home. On Tuesday, he called his old co-host Gregg “Opie” Hughes to talk to him for the first time in two years, since the duo had a very bad breakup. In that call, Cumia reflected on how rehab was “pretty fun,” and to promise he’s done dating “crazy girls,” at least for like a month or two.
