Matcha, or powdered green tea, makes this pie a verdant green Melissa and Emily Elsen, the owners of Four & Twenty Blackbirds in Brooklyn, use a culinary grade matcha, which is less bitter and which you can find online Serve the pie plain or with whipped cream.
1 tbsp Matcha Green Tea Powder (can order online, or Asian Market) 1 scoop (with an ice cream scooper) of non-fat frozen vanilla yogurt 1 tbsp or 1 serving of your choice of Vanilla protein shake powder 2 Packs of Stevia (I make mine slim, so they substitute 2 packs of stevia in the place of Turbinado) Blend with Ice and your choice of fruit (I choose peaches, so I would use a little less than a hand full so it doesn't over power the Green Tea flavor)

Green tea ice cubes for ice water. Great natural energy source throughout the day. As your cubes melt drink gets more tea. I made one cup of hot water w three tea bags (replace one with dandelion root tea for a little detox). I then diluted it a bit w water and poured in ice tray.
