Joseph's 'Champagne' Toddler Room on a 'Beer' Budget — My Room

I knew I wanted to make the transition from ‘baby’ room to ‘big boy room’ for my two-year-old son Joseph. After scouring Pinterest, Houzz, and every major retailer - I knew exactly what I wanted. The problem was, what I wanted was more on the champagne side, and after the expenses of moving etc, I was working on a non-premium beer budget!

BOYS GREEN BEDROOM, This is my 8 year-old sons bedroom redo. With previous post help, I have chosen the bedding after picking the wall color first- big no, no! Here is what have done so far. Looking for a rug with green on it. Sugestions welcome!, View of the room from the bedroom door. , Boys Rooms Design

Home challenge // La couleur dans nos intérieurs

Cute concept for a child's bedroom. I love the idea of the mountain mural, but I'd have something more detailed in terms of the illustration of the mountains and forest/animals etc.

Navy blue is a “new neutral” —paired it with just about any other color; a nice change from black, gray and brown, the usual dark neutrals. It looks fantastic with April Sky from PPG Pittsburgh Paints. Use bolder hues more sparingly if you want to keep the vibe airy and light. But if you want to go bold, an accent wall or two in the green or navy would be eye catching and dramatic. From left to right: Whispering Spring, Pear Green and Indi Go-Go, all from Benjamin Moore.

It's Friday, I'm In Love

FRI-YAY!!! Seriously, isn’t Friday the best?! It’s a free weekend for the Mister and I, which always means projects projects projects!!! I have a ton to work on this weekend! I also need to find more places to go junking around here. It seems like the more popular the décor style I love gets, the harder and harder it is to find vintage pieces that don’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ve been wanting to drive around more in the country towns nearby that have little hole in the wall antique shops…
