I loved this old Gap campaign — simple candid shots of iconic celebs. There was something for everyone: if you weren't into James Dean, then there'd be a shot of John Wayne or Sammy Davis—but the prevailing message was that kakhis were cool. Thanks to work like this, the Gap brand (and profits) soared in the 1990s.
