***I currently have a three to four week week turnaround time *** This American flag is a BellaRemi Designs original. It is truly a one of a kind American flag with the Gadsden Dont Tread on Me logo incorporated. It is crafted from hand-selected reclaimed wood, then hand-painted and distressed to give it a tattered, ragged, rustic, and antique appearance. The wood selected for this flag is the cream of the crop when it comes to reclaimed wood. One cannot find this wood in a hardware/home…
"The Gadsden flag is a historical American flag with a yellow field depicting a rattlesnake coiled and ready to strike. Positioned below the rattlesnake are the words "Dont [sic] tread on me". The flag is named after American general and statesman Christopher Gadsden (1724–1805), who designed it in 1775 during the American Revolution. It was also used by the Continental Marines as an early motto flag, along with the Moultrie Flag."
The Gadsden Flag was created by Christopher Gadsden, a patriot, Congressman, Continental Army General, and Southerner who served on the Continental Congress' Marine Committee; he designed it for the Continental Navy's first Commander-in-Chief Esek Hopkins.
