1927. Paul Renner (1878-1956) was the creator of the Futura font which became one of the most successful & most-used types of the 20C. . He created a new set of guidelines for good book design and invented the popular Futura, a geometric sans-serif font used by many typographers throughout the 20th century and today.
Futura – Originally designed in the 1920s and '30s, these unique faces were characterized by bold outline, streamlined forms, and a sense of stylized geometry.
