Homemade Flour Tortillas- I make these tortillas in batches of atleast 64 at a time. The Buttars boys love them and I can't stop eating them. I freeze them in bags of 12 and we have not bought tortillas for a very long time. Nothing can compare to homemade tortillas for any snack or meal! -Sky
Jazibe's recipes: Tortillas de Harina / Flour tortillas... To make with Crisco.... 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup of Crisco (lard.... don't melt it.) 1 and ¼ cups warm (best as hot as your hand can take don't burn your hand.. Lol) knead very well. If dow (masa) feels sticky, just sprinkle more flour. Enjoy!
Cinnamon Crisps | The Pioneer Woman 1 stick Butter, Melted 3 whole Flour Tortillas (small Size) 1 cup Sugar 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon INSTRUCTIONS Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Brush butter on one side of the flour tortillas. Sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar. Flip tortillas to the other side, then sprinkle on the cinnamon sugar. Bake for 15-17 minutes until very crisp. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
