Superman is my all time favorite superhero and possible my favorite fictional character of all time. He's the one who got me into comics and superheroes as a whole. I was first introduce to him through the justice league animated series but it was the first superman movie that made me really appreciate the character. I loved everything about the character his origin, his powers even his supporting cast, l like how he has a stable family and friends who love him.

Joe Shuster's iconic Action Comics #1 from 1938. This cover has been burned into culture and marked the beginning of the Golden Age of comics. I couldn't picture Superman without seeing this image or Christopher Reeve catching Margo Kidder.
