..this might be the one I want.. but it's "not quite." We live in a red cedar log cabin, but it's "Elegant Prim"... Colonial Virginia meets Western Washington.. with a chandelier or two thrown in for good measure. the top and bottom look too unfinished.. maybe with cast-iron finials?
Window shelf! This kitchen has all the things that I love in it: pressed tin (I would love to have that as ceiling tile or a back splash), a farmhouse sink, salvaged leaded-glass windows used as art, cup-style drawer pulls, the color red, white cabinets, baskets....oh, my!!
Farmhouse sinks say a lot about style and durability. Also known as apron sinks, these are commonly found in country-style homes and feature a large, deep basin (sometimes double basin), as well as a wide base to hold more pots, pans and whatever else you keep in the kitchen sink. Farmhouse sinks also come in stainless steel for a contemporary look. Browse the selection at Build.com today!
