Making potions is an all time favourite. and so easy to do, Plastic bottles and funnels and plenty of water and powder paint or food colouring. This activity can cover almost every area of development in the Eyfs. What would make it even more exciting is if it was cooked up in the mud kitchen!! Role play, counting, measuring, colour recognition, language development, explaining and planning what to do next, sharing and many many more great learning opportunities :) v x
