"Dry Needling: The Most Painful Thing I’ve Ever Loved" ...The controversy continues but I've embraced this technique as an acupuncturist simply because my patients get so much benefit from it. I do make sure they understand the difference whenever I switch between doing acupuncture and dry needling. It isn't the same, and I think acupuncturists in general do themselves a disservice by saying it is.
