Le Portrait de Dorian Gray (The Picture of Dorian Gray) - Oscar Wilde

In Oscar Wilde's "A Picture of Dorian Gray," Dorian Gray himself represents Narcissus. Both characters are prideful and self-absorbed. Wilde's story takes a similar turn as both conceited characters meet a tragic end.

"The story of an artist whose art killed him, a man who died the picture of perfection, and a cynic who outlived his more optimistic peers.this is the story of lust, love, and lies. " A depiction of the Picture of Dorian Grey.

The Picture Of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde - I'm wavering on whether or not I actually want to watch this movie. I almost died of laughter just trying to read the description of how unbelievably handsome and innocent and charming Dorian is. It's like reading The Odyssey and trying to count the number of times that Odysseus is described as being "as handsome as a god" or other such nonsense.
