Today was homemade dog food. It costs about $10 to make. It made 16 servings for my two large breed dogs. The recipe consisted of 3 packages of frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, 1 container of steel cut oats, 1 pound of organ meat (used liver this time), 2Tbsp cinnamon, and 2 sweet potatoes. Follow cooking instructions for the oats which includes 8 cups of water plus 4 for the frozen veggies. Great for the dogs, and the best part is no preservatives with a lot of nutrients.
