3rd graders reviewed different types of lines; horizontal, vertical, zigzag, diagonal, dotted, dashed, and curved. They used different types of lines to draw the snowmen that you see. Next, 3rd graders reviewed the warm colors (red, orange, yellow) and cool colors (blue, green, purple) while painting their artworks.

In Art class, third graders have been studying different types of lines. Students created a step by step drawing of an owl, drawing one line at a time. Third graders really focused on neat tracing, painting, cutting and gluing for this project. Way to go third graders! Your owls are a hoot!

Obviously, if you’re a chemist, these will all be second nature, but as was quite fairly pointed out with regards to the food chemistry graphics, if you’re not well versed in chemistry, all of those lines and letters might well be a bit perplexing.
