In the 1500s, the Sankt Joachimsthal mine, in what is now the Czech Republic, introduced large silver coins called thalers. Other European nations soon followed suit, and the English version became known as "dollars."
The subject of any typography is more than the words. Words are self explanatory but this is more of a personal connection of reflection type of typography. Each type, I feel, has a different inner locking meaning that is just waiting to be found. Black and white, the difference in font, the line types themselves, and even the shading all bring a unique element to each word that is waiting to be discovered.
