Dancer in the Dark. I absolutely LOVE Bjork and she's one of the most inspiring women I can think of. I have this on DVD but I haven't gotten round to watching it yet, but I can't wait to now. I remember this having amazing reviews when it came out. And apparently I should watch it on my own with a box of tissues!
*Dancer in the Dark. Bjork was quoted saying she would never make another film again because of the emotional toll "Dancer" took on her...she was precious, vulnerable, humble, loving, and heart-breaking. One of the most beautiful and tragic films ever made.*
From the top: Charlotte Gainsbourg as She in The Antichrist (2009); Nicole Kidman as Grace Margaret Mulligan in Dogville (2003); Kirsten Dunst as Justine in Melancholia (2011); Björk as Selma Jezkova in Dancer in the Dark (2000) all directed by Lars von Trier. "There's no more to see" by Maria 2012
