DIY awning cover: Make an economical protective cover for a roll up awning WHEN TRAILER IS STORED at home. Use two section of black corrugated black drain field pipe without holes. Use a battery saw and cut a two inch section out the length of both pipes. They snap over the rolled up awning, blocking hail and sun light.
Recover cushions - NO SEWING!!! I have sewn since I was age four (really!)- and I have never wanted to tackle cushions in a trailer/RV. There is no way I would be happy with the results. This is awesome!
Side curtains hang on bungee cords strung between hand holds. Front curtain is on a spring rod that fits into holes already in the minivan. I just removed the oval covers and found readymade curtain rod holders. Rear curtains are attached to sticky velcro (that doesn't stick all that well!).
