Light fixtures from Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. hang in the dining room of a Portland house that designer Garrison Hullinger reimagined for his clients. Turquoise leather chairs by New Pacific Direct surround a table from the owners’ existing collection.
A built-in banquette is flanked by tall glass cabinets for storing dishes and glassware, while a trio of chairs provides more seating on the other side of the table. A large contemporary art piece brings in a splash of color and rounds out the space.
One side of the dining room is defined by the dynamic staircase. Dakota Jackson’s Calypso chairs and the Gear ceiling fixture by McEwen Lighting Studio are all from Thomas Lavin in West Hollywood, California. The custom Quinn table by Joseph Jeup is from John Brooks Incorporated, and the rug is from Atelier Lapchi in West Hollywood.
