A Chili Dog Copycat from Food.com: I haven't had an A chili dog for years, but from what I can remember, this tastes just like it. This is listed as one serving, but the sauce makes enough for about 10 servings unless you use more on your dog like I do. The sauce can be frozen for future use.
CONEY DOG SAUCE ~ 1 1/4 lbs hamburger, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup chili powder, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 1/2 cup water.... DIRECTIONS: Brown the hamburger and then add the rest of the ingredients into the skillet and simmer for one hour. Stir occasionally. Serve on hot dogs. This can also be frozen until needed.
