Joan 'Chyna' Laurer (1969-2016) was an American pro wrestler, glamour model, pornographic film actress, and bodybuilder. On April 20, 2016, Laurer was found dead at her home in Redondo Beach, California. She was 46 years old. Initial police reports stated that she probably died of an accidental overdose or natural causes. Her manager suggested that any overdose was accidental, claiming that she was prescribed drugs but tended to use them improperly

She won the WWF (now WWE) Intercontinental Championship twice, was the first woman to participate in the Royal Rumble events, and defeated prominent male wrestlers like Triple H and Jeff Jarrett.
