BASIC GARLIC CREAM SAUCE • Ingredients: 1 Tb butter, 2 Tb finely chopped garlic, 2 C heavy cream, S & P to taste • Uses: On fish/seafood, pasta, steak, or steamed veggies; as a white pizza sauce; as a dipping sauce for bread, crackers, or veggies • Tips: Add 1/2-1 C grated feta, mozzarella, or parmesan cheese; add fresh basil, oregano, or parsley; add diced onion or red bell pepper • Try with 'my' ingredients found on "Belinda's Baked Tilapia" on my "Yummy Meats: Seafood" board!
South African Recipes | OCEAN BASKET'S GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE Ingredients: 150 g (±5 oz.) Margarine/Butter (preferably Rama) 250 ml (1 cup) Fresh cream 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. Aromat/fish spice ¼ tsp. Parsley 1 tsp. Portuguese spice 2-3 fresh chopped garlic Method: Melt margarine/butter in a pot. Add the cream, lemon juice and other spices. Do not allow the sauce to come to a boil as it will over cook. Simmer until it thickens.
