Our take on a family favorite crispy treat! Our Chex Cereal Treat Bar uses 3, yes just three, ingredients! Marshmallows, Rice Chex and Butter meaning this is a sinch to throw together and an easy activity you can get the kids to help out with. If you want to make it season-appropriate, throw on some sprinkles and voila! A holiday treat bar for all to enjoy. Gluten Free too
Chex Scotcheroos. In our family, these are Aunt Rosie's Scotch-A-Roos. The only difference is, I use only 1 cup of peanut butter, more Chex cereal and 6 oz. of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 6 oz. butterscotch chips for the topping. They are Jacob's favorite! He has these instead of a birthday cake every year.
The one, the only, the ORIGINAL! Dreamt up by the wife of an executive from Chex Cereals in the 1950’s, she served it at an office party and the rest is history! Who knew that the combined flavors of Chex, Nuts, Pretzels, Bagel Chips all seasoned with butter, Worcester sauce, garlic powder, onion powder and seasoned salt would be the favorite homemade snack of the holidays for so many people? Tip: it makes your home smell wonderful when it’s cooking too!
