I am so conflicted! I can't believe it! This is my dream bed, but after measuring my walls, there is no possible way that I can organize my room in such a way to accommodate the HUGE bed, plus all of my current furniture. Stupid small room. :(
A piece of metal carpet trim with the perfect bend already in it. You will need a piece twice the length of your object (one length for the wall, one for the piece). You can cut this with a hacksaw or nippers (the holes are already drilled in it). Next, find the perfect position on the wall to hang your object.
This post by Mrs Fancy Pants showed how easy, yet time consuming, making a bed base is! As i grew up on an extremely sturdy metal bed base made by my father, anything I look at in shops doesn't measure up, unless it has a $k+ price tag. It is also quite difficult to find a bed base with no head board, or is simple and modern. Let's see if I can pull this through before my 21st birthday.
