Carson City Mint, Carson City NV - Between 1870-1893 the mint produced 49 M in gold and silver coins. In 1899 the mines petered out and the mint closed. It eventually became the home of The Nevada State Museum and the Historical Society. It's said to be haunted by 2 entities; Osborne Parker, who died when equipment fell on him, and Abraham Curry, who worked there when it was a mint. Activity includes unexplained footfalls, the elevator operates by itself and a friendly and fatherly presence.
