My take on the Stitching Pony--I used a 3/8's carriage bolt with a T-nut on one end---the handle is from a old Sears table saw. I heated the end of it and melted it into the plastic wheel. Seems to work very well !

Bowl and Plate, Large carriage bolt (10"x 5/8"), Washers that will fit your bolt, Three nuts that will fit your bolt, Glue (I like to use CA glue), If you use a carriage bolt like myself, you will also need some nylon cord
