Anastasia's Best-Ever Baked Beans I'm pinning this as an "idea" because there is no way to get the canned beans here but it does give me thoughts of what to do with what is available....and then make adjustments from there!
Baked Beans recipe using canned beans Easy Baked Beans 2 28-ounce cans of baked beans 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce 1/4 cup molasses 1 TBS liquid smoke Half an onion, sliced thin (optional) Mix ingredients in heavy casserole dish. Bake for two hours and 30 minutes at 325-degrees, stirring occasionally.
Quick & Easy Baked Beans My edits - I used fairly plain canned beans and mostly drained them. Added a bit more brown sugar than the recipe called for (since I wasn't using the brand "Bush"). Spicy brown mustard. Didn't have Worcestershire or liquid smoke. Add some Guinness or other stout. Voila! Oh, and every ingredient to taste. Microwave time was *way* more than ten minutes.
Crock Pot Baked Beans recipe from The Country Cook. Love that his cooks itself and I can keep it warm for everyone while they serve themselves. The flavor gets better the longer it cooks! #LaborDay #MemorialDay #BBQ #sides #recipes
Canning or freezing baked beans is a great winter project when there isn't any garden produce to put up. Not any more difficult than making baked beans for dinner, and you get the benefit of having instant meals on the pantry shelves!
