King Neptune Statue, Canal Park, Duluth, MN had caught on fire in the late 1960's and turned to ash. people did not like this staute and thought it was ugly. sadly I never got to see this in real life do to the fact im from the 1990s and no one else who haven't seen it in its prime never will.

There is so much to do in Canal Park...stroll or ride bikes on the lakewalk, throw rocks in Lake Superior, watch the ore boats and 1000 footers enter and leave the harbor, can't forget about the aerial lift bridge, shop at unique local shops, eat, have a picnic, take a boat ride out on the lake, eat chocolate at the Chocolate Factory, sit and take it all in!
