Japanese Internment-Family waiting to be relocated---Archives Canada, government website therefore reliable---Many Japanese-Canadians were taken from their homes without any reason except that their ancestors were Japanese. This shows the hostility and racism in Canada a the time. Internment camps were compared to Nazi Concentration Camps and many families were separated.
