My favorite Pontiac Firebird Trans Am growing up. This color combination, this year, minus Burt Reynolds. Maybe keep the CB radio for nostalgic reasons. Those boot scuffs on the upper door will buff out!
1977 Trans Am - Smokey & Bandit Movie was released on Jan. 1977 and was a hit Burt Reynold's was given from Pontiac a new 1977 T Top for the Hit Movie - 1977 Trans Am was the top selling Car for that year!
1977 Pontiac Trans Am: If you’re a car enthusiast and you haven’t seen Smokey and the Bandit then you haven’t lived. The movie was basically a two hour commercial for the Pontiac Trans Am and starred Burt Reynolds, Sally Field and Jackie Gleason. Watch this movie and then tell me you don’t want to run right out and buy one of these cars
Muscle car collectors look for low-mileage OR restored examples. You’ll get BOTH with this timeless 1979 Pontiac Bandit Trans Am. Of course, Pontiac experts will tell you that the vehicle was officially known as a Special Edition, but thanks to Burt Reynolds and the “Smokey and the Bandit” movies, all black-and-gold Trans Am Special Editions are commonly known as Bandit cars.
