This is the DevTac Japan "Ronin" helmet. Not just a show piece, this is a fully functional Kevlar level 3a bullet-proof helmet! The best part of it (for me) is that the helmet is in two halves; a backplate that's strapped to your head, and the front section fixes in place with strong magnets. I'm in the process of finding out how much these cost, but I suspect it'll be way out of my range.
